In the CEP hydrogen filling station in Holzmarktstrasse liquid and also gaseous hydrogen at 350 and 700 bar is available at the petrol pumps.
The gaseous hydrogen is produced on site by electrolysis. The electricity required for this is supplied via the electricity grid and is based on renewables. This is complemented with the renewable energy generated on site which is also used in the electrolysis. The electrolyser is a world novelty and can be shifted between different hydrogen production volumes very fast, a necessity to respond to generation profiles for wind power.

Also the compressor technology offered here, as well as the subterranean storage is High-Tech and is a new development.
