Your guided tour will take you through one of the most renowned art museums in Germany, containing outstanding collections of 19th-century painting and sculpture by the likes of Gauguin, Cézanne, Matisse and van Gogh, Expressionist and Cubist masterpieces, works from the classical modern era, art after 1945, and a separate section devoted to photography. The Folkwang Museum was so famous that in 1933 it was given the title of the “most beautiful Museum of Modern Art”.
